The requests are for the icons which makes up for a lot of the regular stuff I post here. I make those for free, I never charged anything for those unless they will be used commercially (and I know some do but I'm not going to go after anyone for my cut. It's an implicit gentleman's agreement between me and the people that use my icons and I'm totally cool with that). Anyone can download those, I never put them behind a paywall or subscription or however it is handled here in DA. I do those between work or during my free time since they do not consume a lot of my attention to make. All I ask is a lot of patience from the people that request as understandably my actual work and IRL things take precedence.

Fan art or just illustrations in general would fall under commissions. They take more time and effort to create. As much as I would like to make my service free, I do have to think about my financial situation as well as I could have used the effort and time to seek more gainful commissions. I'm not saying I'm so good that what I do is worth hundreds of bucks but it's another thing to make my service completely free. Freelance illustration is part of what I do for a living hence I have to advertise my trade here in DA. I understand, we're not actually in the best of times economically and I'm very much willing to hear your terms. All I ask is a fair day's wage for a fair day's work.

Perhaps I worded things vaguely or incorrectly, I apologize for the confusion. My English is barely comprehensible at the best of times and I would be lying if I say that I put a lot of time proofreading the word vomit that I put here in my Journal. Maybe I should be more careful moving forward. Again, sorry for the confusion.

So yeah, I'm starting to slowly get back to the groove of things again. I might have mentioned in passing to some of the replies that I was sick a few months back and that seriously affected my ability to post regularly here. Feeling way better now. At least as better as I can be. Can't really complain.

Anyway, I've cleared up my schedule as I'm done with my list of commitments (minus the icons, I'm still working on those) and I'm open again for art commissions. If you need any fan art or character illustrations or whatever you need to get done, just send me a DM.

To be clear, the icons that I do post here are free. I have received some DMs before thinking I was charging for requests which I do not, at least if its only for personal use. The icons aren't really part of what I do to earn a living. I do it between jobs and just for fun. So while I'm slow as heck with turn around, feel free to throw around game titles that you need icons for...I'll get back to you eventually in about six months

I wouldn't turn down if you feel like donating though I mean, between medical stuff and just trying to earn a living, every cent counts. Not compulsory but I appreciate it. I really have to get my Patreon/Buy Me a Coffee thing going. Both have been dormant since I've created my accounts earlier this year.

I'm thinking of posting some of my pixel art and sprites here in the future. I've been very slowly learning how to do those. Once I build up the courage to shamelessly show those to the world The end game is perhaps I can be good at it that I can work on a videogame or sell it as assets in a marketplace. I'm sure that's a thing somewhere on the internet like itch.io

I did a short project a month ago and the client was upfront that he didn't really have much to pay me and if I would instead accept a Steam gift card. It wasn't a difficult job and it only took a day and a half to get done and it wasn't too much of a hassle so I accepted.

Anyway, the Steam gift card, which is in USD, unfortunately is region locked and I cannot activate it. I told the client not to worry, and still did the job but now I have a 20 USD Steam gift card I cannot use. I completely forgot about this until today when some of the icons I was making were corrupted and I had to re-download a number of the images I needed. Inside the folder where all these pictures were saved, is the screenshot of the card.

So if anyone out there is interested, I'm selling the gift card for only 15 USD. Just send me a DM so we can discuss how we can go about this in details.

By the way, I'm also accepting commissions again. Turn around time wouldn't be quick though unfortunately, at least in the immediate future. So if you are not in a real hurry but would still like me to do a commission for you, I'm available.
